The World Versus Us....
Last night I finished recording vocals for "Eyes Set to Kill" which is scheduled to be released in the first week of January 2011.
"Eyes Set to Kill" is the first single off of the new album which will be comprised of more than 15 songs, including various instrumental tracks. This week I will be working on two such instrumentals that revolve around the piano and will include orchestration and electronics. I am entering another level as a songwriter and am very excited about all these songs as well as the progress of World Versus Me's following which is growing a great deal and 2011 looks like it will be the best year yet.
I am working on an outline to a new music video for "Eyes Set to Kill" which could theoretically be filmed in January with a release very soon thereafter, it's not like "Transference" which involved many locations across the United States, the story of the new video all takes place in one location. Whereas "Transference" had an indie vibe to it, I am focusing on giving "Eyes Set to Kill" a big budget look with only two people filming it.

The new album will contain a wide spectrum of sounds, from cinematic instrumentals to heavy industrial metal rock to electronic dance drum and bass to melodic ambient electro gothic soundscapes... "Eyes Set to Kill" is a strange song in that I honestly have no idea what genre it is in or how to categorize it. It's very melodic though with electronics and heavy guitars. There are sections that switch back and forth between real drums and drum machines, it's really a genre busting song.
