Floating in space.

 I just did a vocal session for "Into Nothing" 2010 and had a bizarre experience, something I never really had before, I was singing with my eyes closed and for a couple of seconds, as if I was having a dream while awake, I was floating in space.  It was the most vivid thing I have ever experienced and it only lasted a couple of seconds, I know it was all in my head but when I opened my eyes I felt almost as if I had an out of body experience, or at the very least this must be what it feels like to have one.

When I walked into the studio, I had told Rudy Haeusermann (the engineer and mixer on this recording) I had been thinking of recording the vocals all day....truth is I went through a couple of days of emotionally drenched moments being pushed into a trance like state and I only have one focus which is to finish this new album as a personal statement not just as a work of art...so when I was finally doing vocals I felt like a man possessed as though nothing else in the universe mattered at the moment of singing.

The new album is called "Duel" and it really is the single most important recording of my life to date....it's something I feel very deeply about and will feature me on everything except the drums once again just as Shaolin Temple of BooM started and was for the majority of it's existence.
